Maccaferri Gabions is a company that specializes in providing products/solutions for the preservation of the environment. Our traditional products, double twisted steel wire gabions and revet mattresses manufactured in our two plants in the USA are used for erosion control projects and for soil retention and reinforcement structures.

The Maccaferri name is synonymous with flood protection, landslide control, channel linings, stabilization and reinforcement of roadway projects all over the world.

In addition to our traditional products, today the Company provides a wide range of solutions promoting other material such as geogrids, geotextiles, erosion control biodegradable products and Turf Reinforcement Mattresses together with related technical services, design support, software and jobsite assistance.

Maccaferri Gabions, Inc. is a part of the worldwide Maccaferri Industrial Group, of which the first company was founded in Italy in 1874.

Maccaferri Gabions was originally founded in the United States in 1956. Today, it is present in the US market with two manufacturing facilities and many Sales Offices throughout the Country.
