Terramesh® System
Terramesh® System units consist of panels of double-twist, hexagonal mesh of soft annealed, heavily zinc coated wire. In order to guarantee the design life required for these applications, the wire is additionally coated with a continuous PVC (polyvinyl chloride) sleeve.
Terramesh® System is a soil reinforcement system used to stabilize soil embankments, slopes, and walls.
The top, front, bottom and reinforcement panel are one continuous sheet of mesh upon which the ends, diaphragm(s) and back of the face section are attached at the factory. This section is then filled with stone.
Behind this stone facing a geotextile filter is placed to prevent the migration of soil fines through the stone.
