Maccaferri Rock Mesh^® HR is a high strength, high stiffness, steel composite system made by interwoven steel wire and ropes inserted during the manufacturing process of the hexagonal double twisted wire mesh production. The double twist prevents unraveling of the mesh, should any accidental wire rupture occur.

Combining the versatility and practical benefits of double twist mesh with the exceptional stiffness and mechanical durability of high tensile steel cables, Maccaferri Rock Mesh^® HR offers a mechanically superior method of transferring the loads imposed on a drapery installation, to the crest line anchor system. Maccaferri Rock Mesh^® HR connects the longitudinal ropes to the top anchor rope.

The Rock Mesh^® HR steel composite is particularly suitable for rockfall protection with its weight 50% higher than the conventional drapery mesh system, making it one of the best systems on the market to reduce rock bouncing and energy for simple drapery.

Maccaferri Rock Mesh^® HR takes ‘tensile strength’ and ‘system stiffness’ to new levels. Rock Mesh^® HR can be used as a secured drapery or as a high strength soil nailing application. By virtue of its construction, Rock Mesh^® HR offers significant flexibility in terms of anchor positioning thereby saving time and on site costs. Rock Mesh^® HR is a single-layer steel composite product, making on-site handling and installation easier and more efficient.
