Spenax Clips

Maccaferri Spenax Clips are fasteners used in lieu of, or to complement, lacing wire for basket assembly and installation.

All Maccaferri Spenax Clips comply with the new ASTM A975 standard for double-twisted hexagonal steel wire mesh gabions and revet mattresses.  The new ASTM A975 standard for the gabions and the mattresses provides a simple test method to verify the quality and performance of fasteners used on projects.   

This test confirms that the fasteners used on a project are as strong as the fasteners used during the connection test in a laboratory.
