MacScour

Maccaferri MacScour is composed of high-tenacity polypropylene (PP) yarns, which are woven into a network in such a manner that the yarns retain relative position to each other for the high demands required for geotextile scour protection utilized in marine applications.  MacScour is inert to biological degradation and resistant to most naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids. 

Maccaferri's MacScour provides protection to coastal structures foundations to prevent scour under wave attack.   With Anchor Tubes along the landward and seaward sides of the structure, Maccaferri's MacScour protects the seabed foundation during wave overtopping to prevent undermining of the structure.
