MacGrid^® AR offers a range of geogrids and geocomposites for use in road reinforcement applications. MacGrid^® AR is a woven geogrid made of glass fibers or high-strength polyester coated with a polymer material; it is offered in varying mesh sizes to accommodate all gravel sizes.

When MacGrid^® AR is combined with a non-woven geotextile, it becomes a geocomposite and acts as a separation element as well as a reinforcement.  The MacGrid^® AR geocomposite, referred to as series G, is saturated with bitumen and creates an impermeable barrier to surface water.
