Water Log
Maccaferri Water Logs are rolls of coir (coconut husk) fiber, bound together with a woven, coir netting used for stream bank stabilization and shoreline protection on low energy flows. Water Logs are 100% natural and biodegradable. Water Logs provide a stable medium for establishing vegetation which provides long term erosion protection to the banks of the watercourse. They have high moisture retention properties and generally last 4-8 years. Water Logs work best on stream bank applications where the native soil is a cohesive, clay-like material.
