MacTex^® N is a non-woven geotextile, manufactured from double needle-punched and continuous polyester filament. Its high-energy absorption, initial modulus, and resistance to de-tangling of fibers make the MacTex^® N range ideal for functions of filtration, separation and protection.

MacTex^® HSW is a high strength woven geotextile made from polyester fiber widely used in construction as a separation and reinforcing layer. The geotextiles are resistant to ultraviolet degradation and chemical environments normally found in soils.

MacTex^® HSW geotextiles, made from woven polyester, provide high strength at low strain and are ideal for reinforcement applications such as:

• Base reinforcement of embankments over soft foundations, as the textile can reduce differential settlements of the embankment
• Over voids in areas prone to subsidence due to mine workings or wash outs
